We are searching for an IT Specialist to join our Technology and Innovation Team based in Halifax Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity

Work as a Tier 2 escalation point in an ITSM ticketing platform for notes & tracking
Provide support for end-user hardware and software within a primarily Windows and Android environment including educating internal clients on day-to-day use
Provide level 2 support for Enterprise Systems such as: Microsoft O365 telephone systems networking file servers camera systems door access control & printers
Support Tier 1 team via coaching documentation and SOP creation
Participate in a variety of IT projects as necessitated by business needs
Be able to travel to locations across the company to provide hands-on support regarding complex issues corporate infrastructure and construction
Participate in a weekly on-call rotation for sitewide critical infrastructure support

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement collaboration and accountability you bring:

A diploma certificate or computer industry specific certifications
A minimum of 3 years experience providing excellent front line technical and/or application support
Strong knowledge of Windows Office 365 network design and implementation firewalls telephony systems (cloud and on-prem) low-voltage systems such as access control and cameras and cybersecurity best practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving planning and organizational abilities
High level of customer service orientation and professionalism
A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations services and care.
