Reports to: CV Services Director

Schedule: PRN Days (Raleigh NC)

How youll contribute

Performs various cardiovascular/vascular procedures including but not limited to monitoring of diagnostic and interventional procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Operates specialized equipment for use in diagnostic and vascular test; and therapeutic interventions performed in the Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab
Scrubs at the tableside and monitors patients as assigned.
Responsible for patient transport as necessary.
Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots resolves and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.

What were looking for
Applicants should have an associates degree from a Graduate of a Program in Discipline (Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology) - Required. Additional requirements include:

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a thorough working knowledge of practices and experiences in a Cardiac/Vascular Cath Lab.
One-year of cardiovascular lab or special procedures experience is preferred.
Must be able to perform all vascular/cardiac procedures involving the operation of imaging equipment including assisting the physician during the actual catheterization procedure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
