The Opportunity
Were looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth across New York and New Jersey (ideally based in the NY/NJ area).
This is a high-impact role with plenty of autonomy. Youll build strong relationships with architects designers contractors and homeowners helping them create elevated outdoor spaces.
If youre motivated by sales growth building long-term partnerships and shaping the future of outdoor living this role is for you.
What Youll Do
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing accounts
- Deliver outstanding customer service to B2C and B2B clients
- Build trusted relationships with architects designers and general contractors
- Represent Terra Summer at trade shows events and client meetings
- Create and execute a territory sales plan to exceed targets
- Track trends competitor activity and customer feedback
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
What You Bring
- 10 years of successful sales experience (manufacturing B2B distribution or related fields)
- Proven record of exceeding sales targets and growing accounts
- Strong business development and territory management expertise
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Independent self-motivated and results-driven
- Comfortable using CRM and MS Office tools
- Willingness to travel regularly within the territory (including overnight stays)
- Bachelors degree preferred
