We are looking for a Research Fellow to research on the areas of Robotics and AI using advanced modeling and simulation.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of a quality inspection system that are fabricated by robots and multimodal sensors.
Development of analytic models simulation and optimization for the quality inspection systems.
Development of a predictive model for quality inspection and monitoring systems.
Development of hardware (e.g. head mounting devices smart gloves and commercial wearable sensors).
Job Requirements:
PhD in Industrial Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in the area of design methods modelling and Optimization for implementing robots and sensors particularly in the automotive applications.
Knowledge of engineering design control optimization FEA simulation and experience in robots and sensors will be considered.
Proficiency in tools such as COMSOL Abaqus SolidWorks AutoCAD UNITY3D Visual C LabVIEW Python and ROS is preferred.
Proven record of good research performance with publications in top-tier journals.
