Our client is the largest chips manufacturer in Europe. They produce chips starting from semiconductor wafers in a fabrication facility (Fab) that adheres to the latest Semiconductor Standards.

Specifically we assist them in automating the Equipments used to create these chips.
For our offices in Milan we are looking for a passionate and professional Software Developer to join our team in Agrate Brianza and to make a career in the Industry world.
Although highly appreciated prior experience in the semiconductor industry is not required. All hired team members will receive specialized training to acquire the necessary project knowledge.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

As a Software Developer working in Automation Team for a semiconductor client youll have the following responsibilities:
-Develop and configure new IT Automation Solutions
-Guide the Acceptance Phase needed to test the effective functioning of your development communicating efficiently.
-Deliver support to the shop floor analyzing logs creating reports and replicating issues happened in the fab.
Main responsibilities of the role are:
-Development and acceptance activities:
oEnsure new automation development (specification gathering Equipment connection Equipment characterization development and parameters settings baseline set-up documentation & knowledge management).
oOrganize build and perform the acceptance tests for any new automation development (from the request stage to the release of the solution in the production environment).
oBeing able to collect and report about all the phases.
-Service support activities:
oEnsure L2 and L3 incident troubleshooting and deliver Service Request as per the target Service Level Agreements and required productivity.
oParticipate to daily incident meetings with IT service teams and contribute to problem management and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Essential Qualifications (required):
Proficiency in C# with at least 1-3 years of experience.
Excellent communication skills
Italian and English are mandatory for this position
Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
Desired Qualifications (optional):
Knowledge of VBscript
Familiarity with VB6
Understading of XML
Regular Expression

Problem solving attitude
