Position Overview

Our clinicians have a depth and breadth of surgical knowledge that are unmatched in the area with expertise in less invasive techniques and innovative practices. At the Institute for Surgical Excellence youll be a part of a team that is setting the bar for surgical excellence.

  • Burn admissions & consults
  • In-office procedures
  • Placing central and arterial lines
  • Bed side debridement
  • Wound care and dressing changes

Practice with a team performing more than 85000 surgeries every year 25 percent more than other centers in the region.

In a Burn Physician Assistant career with LVHN youll experience:

  • Twelve (12) rotation shifts every four (4) weeks (6am - 6pm)
  • No call coverage
  • Nationally recognized ABA-Verified Burn Center
  • PTSF Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Placing central and arterial lines
  • Bed side debridement
  • Wound care and dressing changes

Qualifications

  • Medical Physician Assistant or Osteopathic Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Physician Assistants must have a current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current in ATLS Certification
  • Critical care experience a plus
