Position Overview
Our clinicians have a depth and breadth of surgical knowledge that are unmatched in the area with expertise in less invasive techniques and innovative practices. At the Institute for Surgical Excellence youll be a part of a team that is setting the bar for surgical excellence.
- Burn admissions & consults
- In-office procedures
- Placing central and arterial lines
- Bed side debridement
- Wound care and dressing changes

Practice with a team performing more than 85000 surgeries every year 25 percent more than other centers in the region.
In a Burn Physician Assistant career with LVHN youll experience:
- Twelve (12) rotation shifts every four (4) weeks (6am - 6pm)
- No call coverage
- Nationally recognized ABA-Verified Burn Center
- PTSF Level 1 Trauma Center
- Placing central and arterial lines
- Bed side debridement
- Wound care and dressing changes

Qualifications
- Medical Physician Assistant or Osteopathic Physician Assistant with current license to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
- Physician Assistants must have a current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current in ATLS Certification
- Critical care experience a plus
