Your environment:

Collections NL wants to make a difference by being the partner of customers in financial difficulties. We offer our customers personal easy smart and frictionless solutions with the help of advanced analytics for customers with (potential) financial difficulties. By doing so we want to prevent customers from getting into financial problems (Prevention) and to help those with ING product-related debts in a sustainable fashion. Even when it comes to debt recovery more and more customers want to be able to handle everything independently and digitally while looking for personal and relevant advice when it comes to complex financial problems.

During your STA Product Lead in Collections (Maternity replacement) you will play a crucial role in helping our customers with financial difficulties. More specific as Product Lead Digital & Self-care you are responsible to enable our customers to as much as possible digitally solve their arrears and offer personalized tools to help customers improve their financial health by either preventing arrears or sustainably curing out of arrears. As well as further build our channel strategy making sure our supercircle is equipped with the latest innovations to best serve our customers when they do need a helping hand and manage the IT integration of our platform within and outside ING.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • You steer the delivery of the Digital & Self-care product and make sure we make impact. You know what is going on in the squads actively manage dependencies resolve impediments and keep track of our velocity.
  • Develop tailored solutions and drive innovation including new financial/non-financial services digital journeys and tooling contributing to improving our customers financial health.
  • Boost efficiency by improving the adoption of our digital journeys.
  • Have a deep understanding of what our customers need by doing comprehensive analyses.
  • Influence customer behavior by applying behavioral science.
  • Stimulate interaction between people tribes squads and stakeholders (within and outside your own Product and our Tribe).
  • You foster and boost our continuous improvement culture both in output/impact as well as with the development of your customer journey experts.
  • Together with the tribe leadership built and execute on the Growing the Difference & Collections strategy.
  • Strengthen the ING way of working while safeguarding the Orange Code as a role model.

The STA Product Lead is an exciting position that requires a strong profile. Therefore we are looking for a candidate with the following skills/experiences:

  • Passionate about vulnerable customer segments facing financial difficulties Understanding of relevant market trends and developments and the translation of these into vision strategy and roadmap
  • Proven track record in digitalization realisation
  • Expertise in leading and inspiring multidisciplinary teams
  • Building a strong relationship with stakeholders within and outside of ING
  • Proven experience in strategic projects with high impact
  • Understanding of IT architecture and solutions
  • Put data at the core of what you do
  • Academic working and thinking level.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Customer Experience Management.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving attitude.
  • University Degree or equivalent by experience

The formal location of this Product Lead position is Amsterdam but as Collections we are based in both Amsterdam & Leeuwarden. Therefore you will be required to be able to travel to both locations on a weekly basis.
