Welcome to B2B Regional Market Expansion
The B2B Regional Market Expansion team at Novonesis is an integral part of our Human Health division with dedicated subteams in China EMEIA and the US. Our focus lies in driving business development and executing impactful regional market and marketing initiatives to support growth and innovation across key markets.
We take ownership of managing the go-to-market strategy for our existing portfolio working in close collaboration with Sales and Global addition we are responsible for shaping and developing the regional sales strategy in partnership with the Sales director & team ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
As a dynamic and forward-thinking team we are committed to fostering strong cross-functional collaboration leveraging regional market insights and delivering exceptional results in the ever-evolving B2B landscape.
In This Role Youll Make an Impact By
As part of a global company you will drive growth and innovation across core markets in the EU and MEIA collaboration with the Head of Sales you will develop regional sales strategies and implement go-to-market approaches activating both the existing probiotic portfolio and new product developments (NPDs).
You will act as a country expert supporting growth in human health sectors by addressing market dynamics channels and regulations alongside local sales teams and the global portfolio function. With an analytical approach you will identify opportunities address challenges and ensure financial performance drives strategic actions.
Serving as the primary contact for Regional Sales you will provide portfolio guidance participate in key meetings and support customer engagement activities to shape localized strategies. By analyzing market intelligence you will capture business opportunities while maintaining global standards and tailoring solutions for key customers in the EU and MEIA regions.
You will thrive in this role if you bring some of the following:
Master of Business Management or a relevant scientific background (nutrition or health) with commercial experience.
Significant experience (6 years recommended) within B2B or B2C market and competitors analysis commercial development strategic planning portfolio management and innovation.
Experience in pharma or consumer healthcare customer interactions is considered an advantage though not required.
Proven ability to excel in both entrepreneurial environments and large organizational frameworks with a demonstrated capacity to work independently and effectively manage remote collaboration with teams and leadership.
Being strategically minded analytical and adept at problem-solving with a comprehensive understanding of market structures and dynamics.

What truly matters is your ability to be a team player fostering strong collaboration with the Market Expansion team Sales Customers and Global Headquarter functions. Your entrepreneurial commercial mindset will be key to identifying and acting on opportunities for growth in the Chinese market.
Equally important is your ability to listen actively and identify emerging trends in the market. By maintaining a curious approach you will not only anticipate and champion the needs of both current and future customers but also take ownership of turning initiatives into actionable results.
Lastly strong interpersonal skills are essential enabling you to build meaningful connections and engage effectively with others across various teams and functions.
