The Opportunity
- Were seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support our accounts receivable and credit control operations on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a part of the Accounts team youll be at the heart of our Finance and Business Performance function supporting the team and delivering high quality services. Day to day you will:
- Proactively manage credit control and accounts receivable tasks driving timely collections with precision and a strong commitment to financial integrity.
- Recommend effective collection strategies to the business tailored to individual circumstances.
- Respond to queries from internal stakeholders and external clients in a timely and professional manner.
- Reconcile ledgers resolve outstanding balances and ensure financial accuracy across transactions.
- Prepare and review sundry invoices purchase orders payment files and cash receipts.
- Liaise with debt collection agencies and maintain effective working relationships.
- Complete AR and credit control reporting identifying and recommending process improvements.
- Provide backup support to the wider accounts team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About you:
- 3-5 years minimum proven experience in AR and credit control.
- Leadership capability and a collaborative mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A passion for process improvement and delivering excellent service.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Expertise in financial systems and reconciliations.
- Confidence to work autonomously and take initiative
