Job Description
The Construction Services Technician is responsible for promoting a high level of customer satisfaction through assistance in planning and installation of electric and gas utilities. Working in a team environment you will be responsible for assisting in the design and coordination with the Customer Project Coordinator for the selection of proper materials for new construction maintenance and replacement of damaged Company facilities. This role works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on construction related issues. Interacts and is a member of a self-directed collaborative and interdependent team.

Requirements

• High School GED or Equivalent. AA Degree preferred.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a natural gas or electric distribution related field.
• Requires demonstrated ability to plan organize and coordinate multiple projects and to work effectively with all parties involved.
• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to learn computer applications.
• Specialized job-related training in gas and electric design map reading and familiarity with applicable codes tariffs and requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures is preferred.
• Prior applied experience with CC&B Maximo and GIS preferred.

Hiring Range: $24.31 - $31.11 per hour

• High School GED or Equivalent. BA/BS Degree preferred.
• Three years plus applied and demonstrated consistent performance/experience working with Avista contractors consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record of contributing as a team member and successfully building relationships both internal and external.
• Display competent knowledge of the Construction Service Technician process and must be able to complete complex work assignments.
• Knowlege of company policies and procedures is preferred.
• Prior applied experience with CC&B Maximo and GIS preferred.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Hiring Range: $27.67 - $35.56 per hour

This position requires an in-person presence to support team and on-site responsibilities.

In compliance with state laws we provide the full salary range for each position along with the typical hiring range based on qualifications experience and internal equity.
