DescriptionThe Chief Administrative Office is tasked with developing and implementing first-line defense governance and controls for the asset management legal entity.
As an Associate in the Chief Administrative Office within Asset Management you are responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions gaining a deep understanding of the businesses their associated risks controls architecture and products as well as key corporate and control functions such as Compliance Legal Risk and Controls. Furthermore you involve engaging with teams outside of asset management for centralized matters.
You will report to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Asset Management office in Singapore. You are responsible for the comprehensive management of projects and new business initiatives within the Asset Management office focusing on the Singapore and South East Asia markets. Additionally you support corporate governance for Asset Management Singapore legal entity.
Job responsibilities
- Implement new or updated regulatory requirements and ensure Standard Operating Procedures are current and comprehensive.
- Manage regulatory submissions and reporting collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Participate in regional initiatives and engage with consultation and information papers from regulators.
- Handle ad-hoc governance initiatives and prepare regular update reports.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion including coordination follow-up and documentation.
- Monitor project progress ensuring milestones and deadlines are met and address any arising issues.
- Develop detailed documentation to capture business requirements with clear goals objectives and timelines.
- Serve as a key liaison with project stakeholders across various functional areas and locations.
- Prepare regular project status update reports.
- Assist with daily administrative tasks for the SG CAO team.
- Support the preparation of materials for regular meetings.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in Finance or related subjects required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a focus on project management ideally within asset management or other regulated financial services industries.
- Self-motivated and highly organized with strong follow-up and follow-through capabilities.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high productivity and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
