Postdoctoral Researcher in Natural Language Processing and Food Systems
The School of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnolgico de Monterrey invites postdoctoral researchers to join an interdisciplinary team dedicated to the development of applied research with social impact. We are seeking talent interested in the extraction analysis and detection of information patterns in food systems through automatic text analysis techniques.
The selected candidate will participate in a strategic project with national and international scope aimed at bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and decision-making to generate solutions that contribute to social well-being.
Required Profile
- PhD in Computer Science or related fields (mandatory requirement).
- At least one year of proven research experience in projects related to generative language models.
- Knowledge and/or experience in:
- Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.
- Machine learning with emphasis on managing generative language models.
- Fundamentals of graph analysis and representation (Social Network Analysis).
- Interest in scientific publication international collaboration and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
- Advanced English level (minimum B2).
Responsibilities
- Conduct automatic text analysis to identify relevant patterns in decision-making processes.
- Implement and adapt language models using specific architectures such as RAG fine-tuning intelligent agents among others.
- Design complex representations through graphs to map and understand relationships among components of food systems applying social network analysis techniques.
- Write scientific articles technical notes funding proposals and documents related to the research process.
