Job Description
Senspex is seeking to hire an Audio Visual Specialist II Lead for our team at the NTC in Ft Irwin CA!
The Audio Visual Specialist II Lead is responsible for assuming a lead role for all Audio Visual Specialist IIs and assisting the Audio Visual Specialist III and General Manager with assigned tasks. This position requires significant advanced knowledge of research and the ability to prepare produce and edit audio/visual material (film or videotape for closed-circuit television/Internet Protocol Television) material for use by clients. This position also requires assisting the General Manager and Audio Visual Specialist III with assigned tasks including but not limited to assisting with scheduling VTC missions scheduling the Matrix assisting Human Resources with the in-processing and out-processing of employees and assisting with writing/reviewing Standard Operating Procedures.
The wages for this position are $33.04/hour plus $7.50/hour (Health & Welfare) and also an additional $2.00/hour (Lead pay).

What youll get to do as an Audio Visual Specialist II Lead at Senspex:
- Technical Skills
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various audio/video equipment including mobile units teleconferencing suites and field operations technology.
- Editing: Edit dub and degauss audio/video materials using both linear and non-linear techniques.
- Photography: Capture still images using standard cameras lighting equipment and proper techniques.
- Computer Proficiency: Operate PC/MAC workstations and related software.
- Production Support
- Production Assistance: Assist in the development and creation of new audio/visual projects.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and field personnel.
- Documentation: Prepare required documentation according to established procedures.
- Field Operations
- Field Deployment: Operate equipment in support of field operations including training exercises and military ceremonies.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate motor vehicles on and off public roads including in challenging conditions.
- Live Event Coverage: Film live fire missions and other events as required.
- General Responsibilities
- Adherence to Standards: Follow company policies procedures and safety guidelines.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the customer or supervisor.
The qualifications we require:
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus two years of relevant experience in the audiovisual field
- Must be a current Audio Visual Specialist II
- Current California Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or willingness to obtain a CDL

- Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
- National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs
- Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test
