Description

As an Associate in the Data Owner team you will be expected to support processes and procedures that identify monitor and mitigate data risks throughout the data life cycle in compliance with Firmwide policies and standards. Your role involves collaborating with technology and business teams to ensure that data is clearly documented of good quality and well-protected. By supporting data governance and integration efforts you will contribute to the organizations ability to make informed data-driven decisions. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment playing a key role in the companys data strategy initiatives.

l Execute operational procedures for developing and delivering data to support business operations strategic objectives and advanced analytics

l Assist in capturing and documentingmetadata and classifiers for critical data ensuring understanding of impacts on data providers and consumers

l Collaborate with technology and business resources to ensure data sourcing content and qualitymeet established requirements

l Participate in data governance and risk management tasks contributing to data integration efforts and maintaining datapublishing standards

l Support the execution of processes to identify monitor and mitigate data risks throughout the data lifecycle including protection retention storage use and quality

l Partner with technology teams to capture data sources formats and data flows so that data can be validated for downstream analytics and reporting

l Investigate and document potential data quality issues escalating for remediation as needed

l Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge supporting overall data strategy initiatives

Required Qualifications:

l Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field OR equivalent professional experience in data management data governance or a related field

l 5 years of overall experience 2 years of experience in data mgmt data governance risk management / analytics or a related field

l Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

l Ability to work collaboratively with technology and business teams

l Good communication skills with the ability to document and convey data-related information clearly

l Basic understanding of data management principles and data lifecycle management

l Proficiency in using data management tools and software or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
