Are you someone who enjoys being hands-on helping people and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes The Northern Land Council (NLC) is looking for a reliable and community-minded Logistics and Customer Service Assistant to support our Darwin Daly Wagait team in delivering services to our constituents

About the Role

This role is all about getting things done on the groundfrom helping set up meetings and events transporting community members to making sure venues are ready and welcoming. Youll be part of a team that plays a key role in supporting Aboriginal communities across the Darwin Daly Wagait region.

What you will bring

Youll bring a practical can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. Youre someone who takes pride in doing a job well whether its setting up a venue helping people get to a meeting or making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Youll be a good communicator a safe driver and someone who works well in a team and with community.

In addition to this you will have :-

  • An ability to assist and/or undertake manual handling tasks including large event management camping set ups cooking and purchasing equipment/consumables.
  • Hold a valid unrestricted manual drivers licence.
  • Experience driving a 4x4 vehicle safely.
  • Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain.

We Offer

  • Full Time base salary of $64542 per annum plus 15% superannuation and salary sacrificing up to $15900 meal entertainment and holiday accommodation benefits up to $2650 per year.
  • Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
    • District allowance of up to $4797 per annum for individuals with dependents and up to $2630 without dependents.
    • 5 weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
    • Paid Christmas close down;
    • Upon completion of 12 months of service anAnnual airfare with a net (in hand) value of $3177
