Position Summary
As a Warehouse Supervisor at Light & Wonder you will play a critical role in leading the daily operations of warehouse inventory control receiving and put-away functions across multiple buildings. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on safety accuracy and accountability. You will supervise warehouse associates manage vendor coordination and ensure compliance with internal procedures and inventory standards. Success in this role is measured by inventory accuracy process adherence reporting quality and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Accountability
Lead and manage daily receiving and put-away operations in accordance with Light & Wonders logistics procedures and performance standards.
Drive a culture of accountability through clear delegation expectations and performance follow-up with receiving and inventory control teams.
Supervise staff across multiple warehouse buildings to ensure alignment consistency and coverage of tasks.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all inbound receipts and system transactions in Oracle ERP.
Collaborate with Purchasing and Planning teams to resolve discrepancies incomplete shipments and other inbound issues.
Inventory Control & Accuracy
Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through real-time transaction compliance root cause analysis and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Monitor and audit inventory movements; proactively identify trends and implement corrective actions to eliminate recurring errors.
Oversee inventory-related processes such as lot control FIFO adherence and storage optimization for traceability and efficiency.
Partner with Inventory Control and Cycle Count teams to improve bin accuracy and support inventory audits and physical counts.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
Schedule and manage inbound appointments with freight vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient dock usage.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Receiving-related issues and follow-ups with vendors procurement and logistics partners.
Reporting & Data-Driven Decision-Making
Prepare and present monthly reports on key metrics including inventory accuracy receiving timeliness put-away lag and operational throughput.
Analyze transactional data to identify inefficiencies trends and improvement opportunities within the receiving and inventory process.
Continuous Improvement & Lean Practices
Foster a lean warehouse environment by promoting standard work waste reduction and 5S principles.
Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to improve safety efficiency and productivity within the receiving function.
Engage team members in structured problem-solving and Kaizen-style improvements.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce and monitor adherence to all warehouse safety procedures and forklift/machinery operation standards.
Conduct safety audits and ensure timely correction of hazards or unsafe practices.
Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free warehouse environment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
3 years of warehouse supervision or team lead experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations inventory control and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive accountability.
Experience with lean warehousing practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced warehouse environment across multiple buildings as needed.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent must be able to verify.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of MS Office
Strong working knowledge of Oracle and Agile preferred
Experience with quality environments such as ISO or Lean Six Sigma
Lean Manufacturing Kaizen or similar process improvement experience a plus
Sarbanes Oxley process knowledge
