Job Description

SYSCOM is seeking an experienced Senior Application Administrator with experience in Tableau to support our client and to lead the administration configuration and support of enterprise applications. This role offers the chance to shape large-scale data solutions influence technology strategy and work with a talented team on impactful projects.
Work Location: Primarily a remote based (work from home) position. Occasionally the selected resource may be required to travel and work onsite at the clients location in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
Duration: The initial contract is for 9 months. Contract extensions are anticipated though not guaranteed and may be renewed through June 2029.
Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide advanced expertise for the administration configuration and support of applications
- Application deployment processes and strategies that align with client standards for application monitoring lifecycle management failover disaster recovery and security
- Provide expertise with integration with clients Enterprise Architecture Services specific APIs identity management document repositories and related services
- Design application-specific failover process and strategies to ensure services align with defined Service Level Agreements
- Develop integration strategies and validation processes such that audit capabilities are incorporated and easily utilized.
- Experience with implementing client-facing large scale Tableau and data warehouse solutions
- Experience assisting clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms
- Ability to articulate define and execute a strategic vision of a proposed architecture
- Develop and enforce standards in Tableau and development best practices
- Strong leadership communications and management skills to lead a data analytics team
- Experience with the Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep
- Expertise in dashboard and data visualization design
- Advanced skills in data analysis and data discovery
- Experience with Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud administration.
- Industry experience in public sector is a plus.
