Shift: Monday Friday 10:00 AM 6:00 PM

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CT Technologistin Brooklyn NY 11234to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role requires expertise in CT X-ray and bone density imaging along with adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce quality diagnostic CT images.
Perform daily quality control and calibration checks on equipment to ensure accuracy and readiness.
Administer contrast and radioactive materials per physician orders and established protocols.
Document and maintain records logs charge documents and report equipment issues in compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform quality control quality assurance and radiation safety tests following the ALARA principle.
Maintain develop and retrieve patient films and electronic data for radiologist interpretation.
Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use.
Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries per policy and procedure.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
Current BLS certification (AHA).
Licensed in New York State (L.R.T).
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with CT certification.
Experience in X-ray CT scanning and bone density imaging.
