Manufacturing Technician - 1st Shift

Reuter-Stokes researchers and engineers have collaborated with customers to design produce and install reliable equipment for harsh environments. Our solutions include precise radiation measurement nuclear reactor monitoring UV flame detection and downhole sensing for directional drilling. Today more than 100000 Reuter-Stokes detectors are deployed around the world.

Partner with the best

As a Manufacturing Technician you will assemble components per bill of material requirements and perform functional testing on assemblies. You will test assemblies per customer and/or division criteria and operate the test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Apply settings calibrate and maintain assembly tools. Prep assemblies for shipment.

As a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for:

  • Cleaning and preparing components and performing mechanical assemblies per instructions on the applicable drawing/procedure.
  • Participating in Six Sigma/Lean process/project improvement teams.
  • Communicating with engineers to ensure full compliance with the final product
  • Ensuring product quality by conforming to the established Quality Assurance System.
  • Initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required.
  • Performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Cell Leader or MSO.
  • Complying with all quality safety and work rules.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have the ability to interpret drawings procedures and specifications.
  • Have the ability to use basic hand measurement tools (calipers tape measures etc.).
  • Have a minimum of 1 year non-automated manufacturing experience.
  • Have 1 years soldering experience with ability to become IPC certified preferred
  • Understand basic computer skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Have effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess great written and verbal communication skills
  • Have keen analytical skills and attention to detail.
