Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or University
- Successful completion of the Clinical Fellowship year CCC-SLP
- License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Experience in pediatrics required
- Home health experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age 2 or more times per week in accordance with physician orders
- Define patients degree and type of speech language voice oral-motor swallowing feeding auditory processing and/or fluency impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
- Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
- In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise consult and instruct team in specific speech therapy modalities and interventions
- Plan for and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions
- Educate staff caregivers and patients by designing and delivering training printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with a total speech therapy program
- May provide supervision to Clinical Fellows of Speech Pathology and/or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants if you possess three or more years of experience
