We are currently seeking a Commercial Tyre Fitter to maintain bus tyres at our customers bus depots in and around Southampton Bournemouth & Lymington. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to the safety of our customers bus fleets ensuring the well-being of passengers and the general public as well as having a direct impact on environmental sustainability and profitability of the business.
New to tyre fitting No problem! We will provide comprehensive training to equip you for success in this role.
What will you be doing
Fit inspect and maintain bus tyres at our customers depots in and around York Harrogate Castleford Selby.
Inputting the work youve completed into our internal system.
Managing workload and prioritising tasks effectively
Important:
Approx twice a month you will be required to complete tyre inspections on our customers vehicles. Inspections usually start around 2am when the vehicles are back at youre not doing inspections your usual start time will be around 5am this will be discussed at interview.
Requirements:
UK driving license youll need this to travel between the bus depots (company van provided)
Must have good IT skills.
Right to work in the UK
Previous No previous experience in tyre fitting is required as full training will be given
Willingness to work flexibly
Live within commuting distance of Southampton Bournemouth Lymington
