An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Social Security Scotlands People and Place division as a Forecasting and Evaluation Team Leader within the Organisational Development team. With experience of forecasting planning evaluation and people management you will lead a multifunctional team to ensure the efficient delivery of Organisational Developments learning offer to support and achieve strategic organisational goals.

In this dynamic role you will manage and support a cross-functional team to plan evaluate and administer impactful learning initiatives across the organisation. Youll build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels establishing effective communication channels to promote learning opportunities and drive engagement.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multifunctional team to deliverall elements of learning administration in the provision of learning events and evaluation.

  • Manage the forecasting planning and evaluation of organisational learning activities; identifying and resolving risks/issues to ensure a quality service is delivered and business continuity is maintained.

  • Line manage the Organisational Development Co-ordinator and provide support to the wider forecasting and evaluation team.

  • Support the delivery and assurance of the Organisational Development evaluation strategy.

  • Develop positive and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders creating channels to communicate learning events and offerings to the organisation.

  • Manage the effective collation of data maximising its use to identify efficiencies monitor workforce and present reports relating to operational effectiveness of the branch.

  • Support and provide guidance on the provision of assistive technology training and the accessibility process.

  • Maintain and implement procedures related to all activities within Organisational Development.

  • Support the learning commission process taking the lead on commissions relating to the planning administration and evaluation of events.

  • Manage all elements of learning administration including procurement to support the Organisational Development function.

  • Support the team to maintain the digital learning platform (Pathways) and provide guidance on the administration of learning events on this platform.

Technical:
You will demonstrate the following skills within the CIPD Profession Framework:

  • Project Management Applies project management approaches to deliver an activity or event (Foundation Level)

Experience:

  • Experience of forecasting planning and evaluating various simultaneous activities to positively impact organisational performance.

Working Pattern
Our standard hours are 35 hours per week and we offer a range of flexible working options depending on the needs of the role. We embrace a hybrid working style where all colleagues will spend time in either our Glasgow or Dundee offices.

This role is only available to existing permanent civil servants who have successfully completed their probation period within Social Security Scotland or the broader Scottish Government.
