Position Summary: In accordance with established procedures policies standards and available tools the role holder is responsible for direct sales and lead generation for maximum market penetration the negotiation execution and administration of Cogeco agreements including Bulk residential access agreements and New Home Builder offers while ensuring that we are first to act for brand new residential developments in the region within our current market and as part of its territorial expansions.
Leveraging sales strategies such as door-to-door outbound telemarketing and participating at corporate and local events to meet sales targets the incumbent is expected to sell and/or generate valid leads that enable Cogeco to sell and retain products and services in a timely and professional manner in their assigned area. More specifically the Market Development Sales Advisor is expected to acquire new partnerships with homeowners property developers builders and property managers/superintendentsto maximize a wallet share.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
College diploma in business marketing or other related discipline or a combination of post-secondary education and equivalent professional experience.
Bilingualism is an asset
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Door to door sales technical sales support telephone sales (telemarketing) / or working knowledge of the sales cycle and cross-selling skills would be an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales environment during which you obtained excellent sales results in the ICT (information and communications technologies) sector.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Excellent negotiation skills and great ability to influence in addition to leadership qualities to close sales.
Professional knowledge of G-Suite
General understanding of telecommunications
Ambitious proactive motivated and performance-oriented with the ability to work under pressure
Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and identify sales opportunities and is committed to contributing to the success of the organization.
Very good listener and excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude towards customer service.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently. Be organized and able to assess the quality of your own work.
Open to changes with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards work and contribution to teams.
