- Interpret and work from electrical schematics wiring diagrams harness layout drawings and work instructions
- Cut strip terminate and crimp wires and cables according to building documentation and engineering standards.
- Route and bundle wire harnesses using lacing cord tie wraps and sleeves as specified.
- Install and secure connectors back shells contacts splices and other related hardware
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance checks using multimeters and other basic test equipment.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat; complying with procedures rules and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or wire harness fabrication preferred
- Aerospace or aviation experience considered an asset.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 (Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies).
- J-STD-001 (Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies).
