Overview:
Work closely with the partner to determine the business and technical requirements to design build solutions that deliver the desired outcomes. Provide support internal and external technical support via email phone bookings and in-person presentations/workshops at events or partner site.
Primary Focus:
Solution Design (build solutions) - develop a detailed solution design the incudes all the necessary components and recommended hardware software and services. This may include enabling the TSS associates to grow technology sales while maintaining vendor relations to drive focused results.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales the partners and (as possible) the end-clients to gather and analyze the customers requirements. This includes security requirements budgetary constraints time-to-implement and other business and technical needs. Identify and evaluate solution options that would meet these requirements. Develop detailed solution designs and present them to the partners. Be a resource for the partners to present the solution to the end-users (if necessary).
KPIs: Number of designs built number of customer engagement (consult training)
SLA: Accuracy of designs % of on-time delivery and response % of customer satisfaction
What experience knowledge & skills does a Technical Solutions Engineer need
Knowledge and Skills:
Formal college education or 3-5 years experience with technology products preferred.
Foundational understanding of technical information.
Effective communication with multiple levels of customers.
Ability to follow direction and take initiative as required.
Ability to work as a member of a team and take constructive criticism as an opportunity to advance/improve.
Ability to drive results as an individual contributor that may need to assist others to achieve similar results within the SD&S contact center.
Requirements:
General proficiency with various tools systems and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Senior/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.
A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum of 1-year position specific experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97100.00 - $165100.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidates primary work location pay grade and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors in addition to primary work location such as complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
