Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join a growing engineering team in Peterborough. This role will involve working on a variety of design projects producing accurate drawings and models to support manufacturing and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
Work closely with engineers and project teams to translate concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings
Support the development of new products and improvements to existing designs
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BoMs) and associated documentation
Ensure designs meet technical requirements quality standards and deadlines
Requirements:
Proficiency in SolidWorks (essential)
Previous experience as a CAD Designer or in a similar design role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
