Position Summary
TheWarehouse Runneris responsible forassistingin venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory receivingpurchasing ordering lay-ins purchase order tracking clean-up transfers and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business.The employee mustmaintainexcellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends.Open availability professional presentation outstanding interpersonal skills self-directionand independent decision-making skills are required.
This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00-$15.00

Hilliard Centeris professionally managed by Oak View Group and proudly serves as the premier entertainment hub of the Coastal Bend. The venue includes the 10000-seat Hilliard Center Arena designed for concerts sporting events family shows and professional and amateur rodeos; Hilliard Convention Center hosting trade shows banquets and community events; and the historic Selena Auditorium a celebrated performance space. As home to TAMUCC Mens and Womens Basketball the Corpus Christi IceRays and the Corpus Christi Tritons the venue welcomes hundreds of thousands of fans each year. Responsibilities
- Responsible forassistingwith product receiving and distribution control for the venue.
- Receive products and merchandise checking for quality and damages to items and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise
- Perform transfers ofproducts and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks etc.
- Perform physical inventory as needed.
- Process requests for supplies prepares merchandise for delivery and prepares packages for shipping according to established procedures.
- Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
- Fulfills all event expectations including but not limited to requisitioning during events post-eventbreakdown warehouse returns equipment storage sanitation and maintenance.
- Oversee and ensure thatappropriate stockinglevels are met for each event; rotate andmaintainintegrity of product.
- Performsroutine maintenanceand cleaning ofconcession and utility equipmentportable equipment burden carriers carts floors refrigeration and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location.
- Ensure security of company assets.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clearprofessionaland courteous manner which fosters a positiveenthusiasticand cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak read and write in English is preferred
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment.
- PossessvalidFood Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local government.
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition subtraction multiplication division percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.
Physical Dimensions:
- Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking.
- Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms sit walk stoop kneel crouch and crawl.
- The employee isfrequentlyrequired tolift upto 50 pounds.
- The vision requirements include the ability to adjust focus peripheralvisionand close vision.
Working Conditions & Hazards
- Exposed to weather and non-weather relatedcold temperatures
- In areas with low levels of CO exposure
- Wet and slippery floors
- Extreme hot surfaces
- Pinch points and tight working spaces throughout building
- Exposed to high noise levels
