BMS-Technician

An BMS Technician will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety security conversation and compliance are ensured at the highest levels.

What will I be doing

As BMS Technician you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel including general property maintenance energy conservation are working properly and to standard. You are also responsible for the development of the Engineering Team and staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering as required for hotel standards. Specifically an Engineer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Actively participate in BMS projects from inception to completion ensuring timely deliverywithin budget and scope
• Install program and troubleshoot BMSrelated hardware and software components based on predefined points lists wiring diagrams and customer requirements
• Commissioning and testing BMS software and devices onsite and remotely
• Periodic Preventive maintenance troubleshooting of BMS installations
• Design assemble and test control panels ensuring they are correctly wired operational andcompliant with safety standards.
• Integrate BMS and REMS with IT infrastructure by configuring network settings and Industry standard communication protocols like BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP.
• Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date.

An Engineer/Technician serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you should maintain the attitude behaviours skills and values that follow:

• Higher Diploma (MQF level 5) in Industrial Automation Electronics Controls or equivalent
• Three years of work experience in a similar field;
• Familiarity with various BMS platforms (e.g. Honeywell Siemens Johnson Controls Distech)and protocols like BACnet
• Good ICT skills being comfortable working with applications such as MS Office and others
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for controlpanels.
• Have good written and verbal skills in English. Fluency in Maltese is considered a plus.
