Role - ACI Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Developing and deploying ACI-based network solutions including fabric policies access policies and security policies.
Diagnosing and resolving complex network issues within the ACI fabric including underlay and overlay issues and tra ic flow problems.
Configuring and optimizing ACI components such as switches controllers and policies to ensure optimal network performance.
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and potentially leading projects.
Creating and maintaining network documentation including network diagrams configurations and standard operating procedures.
Implementing and maintaining security policies within the ACI fabric including network segmentation and micro-segmentation.
Working with other teams such as security cloud and application teams to ensure seamless integration of ACI with other systems.
Collaborating with vendors such as Cisco for support and issue resolution.
Participating in incident response activities including troubleshooting escalated issues and conducting root cause analysis.
Implementing and maintaining proactive monitoring tools and processes to identify and address potential network issues before they impact users.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in ACI and related technologies.
Required Skills and Experience:
Cisco ACI Expertise: Deep understanding of Cisco ACI architecture components and policy model.
Routing and Switching: Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP OSPF etc.) and switching technologies (VPC STP etc.).
Network Security: Experience with network security principles firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Troubleshooting: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
Documentation: Ability to create and maintain clear and concise network documentation.
Certifications: Industry certifications such as CCNP or CCIE in Routing and Switching or Data Center
