Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • A leading Medical Device company in Irvine CA is looking for an NPD Engineer to support the Supplier Quality Engineering team on a 12-month project that will kick off in October 2025. This is a fully onsite position.
  • This Engineer will be focused on supporting New Product Development as a member of Supplier Quality Engineering to inspect and measure devices using vision systems like Keyence using SolidWorks to make necessary changes to fixtures and translate information into reports to share with cross-functional teams in R&D Quality etc. This Engineer will need to perform inspections collect data and then review with R&D to explain to them potential challenges based on their specifications. The Engineer will also provide hands-on support for Gage R&R and test method development.
Requirements:
  • BS degree minimum ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2-7 years of Medical Device industry experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience using SolidWorks experience updating drawings.
  • Experience using vision systems for inspection.
  • Experience with Keyence is a plus but not required.
  • Hands-on independent experience with Gage R&R.
  • Hands-on independent experience with test method development.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in Irvine every day.
