Job Description
Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Georgetown KY
Duration: Contract to Hire
Pay rate: $23.00-$41.00/HR on W2
DAY AND NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE!!!!!
What will you do:
The Electrical Maintenance Technician installs tests repairs and maintains electrical or electronic plant production machinery support equipment building and other systems throughout the site to maintain optimum operating conditions and plant productivity. The role is expected to report to and assist with both electrical and mechanical issues as well as:
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
- Install maintain and repair electrical systems in Industrial environment.
- Perform electrical work in accordance with local state and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install and connect wiring switches and other electrical components.
- Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
- Installation of switch gear motors transformers etc.
- Experience with PLC Robotics Servo drives.
- Write program troubleshoot modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers CNC machines robotics and other electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pneumatic electrical equipment and machine components.
- Modifies and writes logic control programs. Assists in the diagnosis of electrical mechanical plumbing and similar problems and apply appropriate corrective action.
- Performs frequency drives writes drive logic in PLC code creates HMI applications uploads and downloads PLC programs and HMI applications programs ladder logic to troubleshoot equipment integrates new processes into equipment sets up network communications and sets up advanced routing of Ethernet protocols.
- Participates in and successfully completes training directed at increasing job-related trade skills as mandated by management/supervisor.
- Helps train Maintenance employees in keeping all equipment in good repair and regularly serviced
- Experience programming/troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs
- Experience programming/troubleshooting Kawasaki Robots
- Experience programming/troubleshooting electrical circuits and controls

- 12-hour shifts 7:00 - 7:20 4 days week one 3 days week two working only half the month on a normal schedule
- Overtime paid at time and a half after 36 hours in one week and after 40 the following
- Shift Differential: additional pay of $3.00 for all hours worked between 11pm 7:20am and $0.30 cents for all hours worked between 3pm 11:20pm

Requirements:
