Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to lead and manage architectural engineering aspects across complex building and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural design engineering coordination construction technologies and building systems. You will oversee design development technical detailing code compliance and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the design development and technical documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction
Review and validate architectural and engineering drawings ensuring coordination with structural MEP and other disciplines.
Ensure design solutions comply with building codes local regulations and sustainability standards
Develop and review detailed construction drawings specifications and BOQ.
Serve as a key liaison between the architectural team clients consultants and contractors.
Coordinate with MEP structural civil and landscape teams to resolve design and technical issues.
Participate in project meetings site inspections and design reviews.
Provide technical support during construction including RFIs submittal reviews and shop drawing coordination.
Conduct site visits to monitor architectural works for quality design intent and compliance.
Evaluate material samples mockups and prototypes.
Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures internal design standards and project delivery protocols.
Review documentation for completeness constructability and accuracy.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects and drafters.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
Minimum 7to10 years of professional experience with proven track record in large-scale architectural or interior fit-out projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD Revit and other BIM tools; knowledge of Navisworks Bluebeam or SketchUp is a plus.
Deep understanding of construction detailing building materials faade systems joinery and finishes.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Primavera MS Project) is a plus
Strong knowledge of building codes standards (e.g. IBC ADA local regulations) and sustainability practices (LEED or equivalent is a plus).
Excellent communication coordination and leadership skills.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
