Location: Vancouver British Columbia Canada
Compensation: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
As a 4th Class Power Engineer you will:

Operate and monitor boilers refrigeration units air compressors and other plant utilities to ensure reliable performance

Perform scheduled inspections routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and systems

Respond to alarms troubleshoot issues and take corrective actions to prevent downtime or safety risks
-
Maintain accurate logs reports and records in compliance with regulatory requirements
-
Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize energy use and system performance
-
Work collaboratively with other maintenance and operations personnel to maintain a safe and efficient work environment

Ensure all work adheres to Work Safe BC and Technical Safety BC standards
Candidate Requirements

Valid 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency (BC)

Previous experience in an industrial food processing or manufacturing environment preferred

Strong understanding of boiler operation refrigeration systems and safety procedures

Ability to work independently while being a reliable member of a team

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Willingness to work shifts as required by the facilitys operations schedule
