Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medication and providing excellent customer service to our clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory ordering supplies and ensuring the pharmacy is clean and well-organized. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medication accurately and efficiently - Provide excellent customer service to clients including answering questions and addressing concerns - Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed - Ensure the pharmacy is clean and well-organized at all times - Follow all safety and security protocols in handling medication and dealing with customers - Keep up-to-date with new products and medications and assist in educating customers about them - Process customer payments and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with other pharmacy staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations - Adhere to all company policies and procedures as well as local and national regulations Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Basic knowledge of medications and medical terminology - Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly - Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings if needed - Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time Benefits: - Competitive salary - Medical dental and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company - Ongoing training and development programs If you are passionate about helping others and have a strong interest in the healthcare industry we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Venture Resources.
