Job Description
Who you are:
-
Security-Cleared Professional: Must hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or Top Secret Clearance.
-
Education: Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related field OR HS Diploma with 7 years of lab management or systems administration experience.
Experience Requirements:
-
6 years as a Cloud Engineer Linux Systems Engineer or similar role.
-
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience.
-
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
-
Experience with scripting languages (Bash Python etc.).
-
Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
Desired Skills:
-
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD ArgoCD).
-
Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu) administration.
-
Understanding of networking and security best practices in cloud environments.
-
Familiarity with containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker Kubernetes OpenShift).
Certifications:
-
DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II certification (desired).
What youll do:
-
Design implement and test cloud-based infrastructure and services with a focus on Red Hat-based systems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Deploy and test scalable secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies.
-
Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
-
Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible Terraform or Red Hat Satellite.
-
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with standards and policies.
-
Apply advanced analytical skills and technical resources at tactical levels to support command decision-making and mission execution.

Automate infrastructure tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
-
Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in lab environments.
-
Stay current with Open Shift and Kubernetes advancements recommending improvements.
-
Identify and propose efficiencies to existing procedures (with customer approval).
