Plant Finance Manager

Location: Atlanta Georgia (Local Candidates Only Southeast Atlanta)
Compensation: $110000 - $120000/year 18% Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

HireNow Staffing is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to lead financial operations for a major manufacturing facility in Southeast Atlanta. This role is perfect for a finance professional who is equally comfortable in the boardroom and on the plant floor someone who can translate financial data into actionable insights that drive efficiency cost savings and growth.

The Plant Finance Manager will serve as the key financial partner to plant leadership overseeing budgeting forecasting cost analysis and performance tracking. This is a strategic high-visibility role for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys being embedded in operations to influence results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Plant Manager and leadership team to provide financial guidance and ensure operational goals are achieved

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets rolling forecasts and monthly variance analysis

  • Monitor and analyze plant performance metrics identifying cost drivers efficiency opportunities and risks

  • Manage standard costing inventory controls and variance reporting to ensure accuracy in financial results

  • Oversee capital project analysis and ROI assessments to support plant investments

  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and internal controls

  • Develop and mentor on-site finance staff while building strong cross-functional relationships with operations and supply chain teams

  • Present plant financial performance to regional and corporate leadership translating data into clear recommendations

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; CPA CMA or MBA a plus

  • 7 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant finance environment

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting standard costing and variance analysis

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/financial modeling skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; proven ability to influence and collaborate with non-finance teams

  • Local candidates only must be based in or able to commute daily to Southeast Atlanta
