Working Student (DevOps / Cloud Engineering)

As part of our dynamic and cross-functional team you will be instrumental in developing features within a specific value stream while actively influencing product decisions based on input from customers stakeholders and your team.

Tasks

• Work closely with senior engineers to learn best practices while supporting daily DevOps operations.
• Support in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub/GitLab) ensuring smooth and automated software delivery.
• Assist in managing containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud services with a focus on AWS (Azure optional).
• Contribute to monitoring logging and alerting systems to improve reliability and observability.
• Participate in incident handling and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Collaborate closely with developers to streamline deployments and improve developer experience.

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• First hands-on experience with Linux Docker AWS and CI/CD tools (GitHub/GitLab).
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Python PHP Bash Java)
• Interest in topics like automation cloud infrastructure monitoring and reliability engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills eagerness to learn and the ability to work in a team.
• Communication: fluent English required; German is a plus.
