You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMittera is currently seeking motivated individuals interested in joining our growing team as a Fulfillment Lead! Fulfillment Leads coordinate the production of hand assembly jobs; facilitate communication among hand assembly team and other plant employees. They must monitor progress of projects as assigned and ensure processes and QC procedures are followed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
All leads share in the responsibility to maintain a safe productive and respectful workplace. Promptly report any unsafe conditions inappropriate behavior or violations of company policy to your supervisor. If you feel your complaint has not been addressed contact your Plant Manager or Human Resources for assistance.
Lead a crew of individuals providing the instruction guidance and supervision required to successfully complete projects with varying complexities such as:
Creating detailed product kits with multiple component and quality requirements as well as multiple version requirements.
Provide direction on proper kitting/collating/sealing/boxing
Monitor crew performance from both a time and quality and quality standpoint
Track crew performance level and communicate with department supervisor to maintain production schedule of assigned task
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identify the appropriate quality control process to be followed for each job. Monitor assigned team to ensure that the qc pulls are done properly and processes are followed.
Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with company requirements
Use Qc sign off (ticket/sample piece) and interact with appropriate team members (project manager) to obtain approval to proceed with job.
Count and sort various product items
Verifying completed job counts match job requirements.
Clean up and keep immediate work area neat and orderly. Ensure all material used in production are returned to the proper place including products needing to be returned to the warehouse/inventory.
Gather all paperwork and job bags as projects are completed and forward to the department supervisor. Paperwork includes signed and date stamped QC copies copies of all load tags current copy of job ticket and completed Job Completion Checklist
Assist in training all Hand Assembly employees in all functions to include correct data collection of time against projects.
Advise supervisor of any mechanical problems with equipment.
Read and understand the job Work Order/Ticket/Spreadsheet for instructions and specifications specific to the manufacturing of the job. Produce all jobs according to the specifications and instructions within the Work Order/Ticket/Spreadsheet.
Complete production time keeping records (data collection) via Printstream inclusive of logging time against the proper activity codes quantity produced and material where applicable.
Required Skills and Abilities

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or previous hand assembly experience.
Language Skills: The ability to read and interpret documents such as job work orders/tickets/spreadsheets safety rules operating SOPs and policy manual. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and/or verbally. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in various situations. Able to evaluate a project for efficiency and provide suggestions for possible production improvements.
Quality: Ability to be quality conscious and detail oriented. Mittera is a detailed oriented deadline driven company with high expectations.
Other skills and abilities: Ability to speak English and Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements
Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing pulling reaching lifting squatting kneeling and bending.
Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Requires fine motor hand and arm movement manual dexterity and coordination.
Requires near visual acuity.
Requires working around and operating departmental equipment.
Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances
