Clinical Nurse Supervisor Oncology Clinics

Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor to join our Oncology team. This leadership role is responsible for supporting the management of patient care in both the outpatient infusion clinic and the medical/surgical oncology outpatient clinic. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor will coordinate staff development and education oversee quality improvement initiatives manage scheduling and staffing and provide direct patient care as needed.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe high-quality and compassionate care in accordance with professional standards State Law and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day leadership and support for the outpatient infusion and oncology clinics.
Coordinate staff education training and professional development.
Facilitate and participate in quality improvement activities.
Develop and manage staffing schedules to meet patient care needs.
Deliver direct nursing care including administering medications within scope of practice.
Collaborate with physicians advanced practice providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
Qualifications License Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in Nursing required.
Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience with at least one (1) year in a nursing leadership role.
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required.
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon hire.
Current BLS certification required upon hire.
Annual proof of 10 oncology-related continuing education (CE) credits initiated upon hire and due by the end of each calendar year.
Active Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Provider Card (or supervisor-approved equivalent) required upon hire or to be obtained within 1 year of hire.
Compensation:
Hiring range: $89440 $102856 annually depending on education and experience.
