About the Candidate / Role
Tradewind Aviation is looking for a Line Service Technician to work out of our base location in Oxford CT. The individual should be attentive to detail and have exceptional problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- The movement of all aircraft in the hangar.
- Fueling aircraft.
- Maintaining the upkeep of the hangar and office areas.
- Maintaining hangar equipment
- Perform general groundskeeping
- Manage inventory at our CT bases
- Travel to other bases as needed.
- Performing other assigned duties
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid US Drivers License Clean Driving Record
- Strength to lift 50lbs and the ability to work in confined spaces.
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to train.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous aviation experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for extended periods
- Ability to hear and speak clearly on the phone and in meetings (in person or virtual)
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard mouse and standard office equipment.
