Were seeking a results-driven leader to manage our Oakland branch with a strong focus on business development commercial lending and client engagement. Youll drive growth in loans deposits and fee income by building relationships with local Centers of Influence and business owners.
Ideal candidates bring proven experience in commercial creditidentifying quality loan opportunities assembling loan packages and guiding them to closealong with sharp business acumen and a passion for community connection.
Essential Functions:
Oversees leads and directs a branch with regards to sales operations and corporate/regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending deposit and fee income goals.
Responsible for Business Development activities and active engagement with local COIs which contribute to production and growth goals in loans deposits and fee income.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners applying business acumen to understand their needs and provide tailored financial solutions. Identify quality business and commercial credit opportunities compile complete loan packages and manage the process through to successful closing..
Responsible for staff management and development including performance evaluations promotions salary recommendations and disciplinary action.
Provides suitable credit deposit or other banking services as well as counsel and advice to best meet clients needs.
Develops programs to maximize branch profitability minimize risk and improve customer service and product knowledge.
Responsible for acquiring expanding and maintaining client relationships through both inside and outside business development activities.
Analyzes risks and profitability of assigned client portfolio to ensure ongoing profitability and conformity with credit terms.
Responsible for ensuring the successful processing underwriting and approving of loans within assigned limits.
Negotiates loan terms and conditions in accordance with bank policy.
Remains well versed in economic and financial concepts and developments relating to clients.
Reviews branch reports for compliance and accuracy.
Responsible for community development and relations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelors in Business Administration Finance or a related field and 5 years of banking management and business and commercail lending or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Business Development experience preferred.
Working knowledge of branch/banking management operations policies procedures banking products and lending requirements.
Working knowledge of business development and sales within the financial industry.
Ability to make sound decisions mitigate risk build relationships and work with a variety of clients employees and management.
Sound knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
Solid problem resolution and communication skills both verbal and written.
Solid customer relationship skills.
Ability to manage staff.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $120000 - $150000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience and location.
