Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist Assistant
Location: Hopkins MN 55343
Duration: 3 Months (with possible extension)
Pay Rate: $33/hr. on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dental Hygienist Assistant to join our care this role you will provide critical support to the dental hygiene staff ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about preventive oral health patient comfort and professional growth in a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and set up treatment rooms ensuring cleanliness and sterilization.
Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment procedures.
Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
Manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
Support hygienists with patient scheduling treatment recommendations and recall systems.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA OSHA and industry standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Prior dental assisting experience required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.

N/A
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Associates Degree or certification in Dental Assisting preferred but not required.
Certifications & Licensure
Six (6) hour X-ray training certification (required).
CPR certification (required).
