Location: Cambridge MA 02138
Duration: 12-weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $960- $1080; (Negotiable based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team on a 12-week contract basis. This role requires a motivated individual who is proactive and reliable to provide high-quality patient care and support within a busy clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs medical histories and other patient information
- Prepare patients for exams and assist during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and exam rooms
- Support front desk and administrative duties as needed
- Follow all healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active Medical Assistant certification required
- Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
