Job Description
Title: Principal API Developer
Location: Charlotte NC (Hybrid) (Locals required)
Role Overview:
We re seeking a Senior/Principal-level engineer to lead technical innovation and direction. This high-impact role involves mentoring the team driving architectural decisions and ensuring timely delivery of critical projects across customer-facing platforms (web mobile).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on guidance and industry best practices to the team.
- Work independently while owning deliverables and project timelines.
- Contribute to a high-visibility initiative with enterprise-wide impact.
Tech Stack:
- : Core development language.
- Terraform: Infrastructure as code.
- Apigee & Kong: API gateway tools critical expertise required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments (e.g. investments deposits auto etc.).
- Exposure to financial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proven technical leadership in mentoring architecture and product ownership.
