The role would involve providing support to Investment Banking Private Equity Venture Capital and
Family Office clients (global) for their mandates and research requirements. The opportunity is
ideal for professionals with experience in investment banking M&A advisory and
private equity support and are interested in being a part of our growing investment banking practice.
Story boarding and workshopping of marketing collaterals such as but not limited to pitch
books IMs PPMs and company profiles
Preparing target industry databases and company profiles
Create financial and valuation models including but not limited to cash flow models merger
models and LBO models
Conduct target valuation via methods including DCF Trading Comparables and Precedent
Transactions through databases and/or company financial filings press articles and other sources
Assist in pre and post transaction due diligence activities for both buy side and sell side
Performing unstructured financial analysis on data provided and arriving at conclusions /
identifying issues
Assess data accuracy and reasonableness in areas such as financial reporting market sizing
valuation etc. and follow-up directly with clients and third-parties appropriately to achieve
necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies
Monitor and analyze market trends M&A activity and regulatory developments relevant to the
target industries
Collaborate with other teams such as Growth Advisory or Technology Research &
Advisory for example to ensure smooth and efficient execution of transactions and projects
Support senior advisors/bankers in client interactions including communication and
coordination with clients legal advisors and other parties involved in transactions
Maintaining business contacts (i.e. it is our expectation that consultants will make a positive
commitment to maintaining contact with people they meet on transactions who may become
important providers of work in the future)
To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development activities
To prepare first draft engagement letters demonstrating T&R technical/risk management
awareness
Handle client communication with multiple stakeholders in the clients organization
Handling adhoc research requests as per client or team requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Functional Requirements:
CA rankers CFAs or MBAs from top tier institutes
Experience in Investment Banking Private Equity or M&A advisory would be
preferred
Excellent analytical and web researching skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
and concisely
Strong financial and business analysis skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation
techniques
Proficiency in working on databases including Bloomberg CapIQ Thomson Reuters and
Pitchbook
Excellent word ppt and excel skills
Soft skills & Behavioral skills:
Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines
Ability to independently monitor follow-up and liaise with multiple stakeholders for information
requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly learn and upskill on client specific domain knowledge
