Job Description
Summary:
- A bachelor s degree in biology Environmental Science Environmental Engineering or a related field is required.
- Candidates should have zero to five years of experience in environmental sampling and compliance.
- The Level 1 Environmental Specialist assists with environmental compliance regulatory affairs and sustainability initiatives.
- This role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain compliance with environmental regulations minimize environmental impacts and support sustainable practices.
- Basic knowledge of environmental regulations project management skills and the capacity to collaborate on environmental matters within the organization are necessary.
- Qualifications include familiarity with federal state and local environmental regulations and permitting processes; experience operating power boats and watercraft; ability to work as part of a team on multiple projects; capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; strong analytical problem-solving and decision- making skills; effective communication abilities; and attention to detail.
