We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients

Role : Mongo DBA with Java and bash exp

Location: Austin TX (Day one Onsite)

Contract duration :Long Term

Minimum years of experience: 8 years

They are not looking for a Java Developer. They are looking for a Mongodb DBA with some exp on Java who will work as a L2 Support/ Production Support.

The client is looking for a developer with strong hands-on experience in Java coding.

The skillset is:

Advanced experience with NoSQL data management (running queries updates managing indices etc)
Intermediate experience with Java applications
Intermediate experience with bash/Python so they can help with production releases
The role would be a DBA/Production Support type of role.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MongoDB Engineer with strong DevOps experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design implementation performance tuning and maintenance of MongoDB databases as well as for managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. You will work closely with development QA and operations teams to ensure seamless database and application deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3 years of experience with MongoDB administration (Replica Sets Sharding Indexing Aggregation Framework etc.)
Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas and on-prem MongoDB deployments
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
Experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Docker Kubernetes Helm
Proficiency in scripting (e.g. Python Bash or Shell)
Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Ansible Terraform or similar
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack)
Understanding of network firewall DNS and load balancer concepts
Good knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP

Preferred Qualifications:

MongoDB Certification (Associate or DBA)
Experience with PostgreSQL MySQL or other NoSQL systems (e.g. Cassandra Redis)
