Job Description
- Assess and treat employees for acute as well as chronic medical conditions.
- Treat patients who have an injury or disease that is both personal and work-related.
- Acting APP (Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant) for the Client Greensboro (GSO) and Research Triangle Park (RTP) clinics.
- Will be responsible for traveling 2 days week to RTP site.
- Primary location will be Client GSO.
- Works under the direction of a physician for the clinics Perform health screenings on behalf of Client to confirm that employees are medically fit to perform job duties.
- Advise Client on public health and workplace safety including physical and chemical hazards.
- Advise Client on occupational medicine by reviewing patient health and working conditions in workers compensation claims and to determine the severity of a workplace injury.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in family internal or occupational medicine.
