Job Summary
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the Receiving Coordinator/ Driver will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities and any driving as needed.
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
Make deliveries to customers/ pick up material using company vehicle and 15 ft trailer as needed
Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers supervisor and purchasing department per company policy.
Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies over-shipments or substitutions.
Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier.
Load and unload deliveries using forklifts dollies or hand trucks in a safely manner.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license required clean driving record
Ability to maneuver 15 ft trailer with company pick-up truck
1-3 years of experience in logistics shipping and receiving or related field
Basic computer knowledge
