Our client is a state-of-the-art manufacturer of plastic injection-molded parts and assemblies. They produce top-quality plastic parts from both commodity and engineering grade materials for many diverse industries including emergency products and electronics closures hardware medical automotive and more.
This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality plastic components while adhering to safety and efficiency standards. If you have a passion for precision and a keen eye for detail we encourage you to apply.
Shifts Available:
1st: 7:00 am to 3:30pm
2nd: 3:00 pm to 11:30pm
3rd: 11pm to 7:30 am
1 week Monday to Friday and 1 week Tuesday to Saturday
Responsibilities
- Move mold tooling and auxiliary equipment to the molding machines and perform the set-ups.
- Install change-over when jobs are complete.
- Troubleshoot equipment process and mold tooling.
- Perform mold tooling inventory control.
- Maintenance and repair of equipment while assuring all safety features are in place and functioning properly.
- General shop maintenance cleaning and organization.
- Complete required documentation and review documentation for job and correct machine.
- Complete documentation for any maintenance/safety concerns.
- Assist with material handling and quality control as needed.
- Perform certain duties and responsibilities of the Foreman in the Foremans absence or as requested.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in injection molding or related fields.
- Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to fabricate components as needed for production adjustments.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers to ensure product quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
- Able to climb ladders.
- Sit- down Forklift Operator.
This is Full time temp to hire position with a pay rate of $22.00 - $28.00/HR
